Green Party of Nigeria (GPN) Kaduna State is strategising on how to claim the state in 2019 and has vowed to embark on massive publicity to inform the electorate about it’s programmes.
Executives of the party in the state made the resolution at an emergency meeting held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at its office.
A communique jointly signed by the state chairman, Ahmed Muhammad Zagi and the assistant secretary, Philip Ladan, informed that they have resolved to intensify publicity in the state.
“We resolved to flood the state with publicity of our party and candidates ahead of 2019.
“Green Party would be one to beat in the forthcoming elections because we have credible candidates that can beat any opponent for all positions from governor to state houses of Assembly members, ” it stated.
The party vowed to use all media available to win the hearts of the electorate.
“We know that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost its goodwill with the electorate and the masses are reluctant towards going back to their Egypt (PDP), which leaves our party as the available best alternative, ” it added.
It also informed that the party has concluded plans to hold a mega rally in Zaria on a date that would soon be made public.
