2023: Sokoto thickening as Atiku campaign train storms next Tuesday

Sokoto, seat of the caliphate is fast taking shape for political campaigns as bill boards , posters and banners of party candidates are on display across major streets as PDP Presidential candidate and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar campaign train storms the ancient city next Tuesday.

The newly Atiku House office of the PDP along Ahmadu Bello Way, Sokoto is now a bee hive of activities by party members in preparation for the august visit for Atiku’s campaign train

Along the popular Mai ruwa and Government House round abouts on the Gusau road are also an eye catchy bill boards mounted with the pictures of Atiku, Okowa,Tambuwal and guber and deputy candidates of the state.

Also on the Kofar Atiku road banners and posters have almost defaced some private buildings whose owners are believed to be PDP staunch members.

Notwithstanding , the opposition APC has also staged its appearance with bill boards, posters and banners in between those of the ruling PDP in the state.

In Tudun Wada, Mabera, Gawon Mama, Minannata, Arkilla , Runjin Sambo, among other strategic areas are APC party symbols and banners.

Meanwhile, politics is thickening in the caliphate with clusters of party members and supporters at various points, engaged in chats, discussions and debates on Presidential candidates strength and weakness.
