2023 : Tambuwal says PDP ‘ll focus on ending poverty, insecurity , corruption, seeks massive votes for candidates

Sokoto state governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on Wednesday flagged off the state PDP gubernatorial campaigns assuring electorates that the party’s candidates will focus on ending poverty, insecurity and corruption.

Tambuwal also sought electorates to not hesitate voting massively for PDP which he said have the most credible and in patriotic candidates of all the parties.

Tambuwal made the remarks in Dange-Shuni town venue of the flagg off which attracted large turnout of supporters.

Hitherto, while appreciating the unprecedented turnout which he described as a good omen towards the party’s success come 2023, Tambuwal also urged them to ensure they vote for the party to remain in power in the state.

“We thank God that the people of the state are witnessing the massive good work of our administration in the state in terms of infrastructure, agriculture, Education, youth among others.

“I also want to assure you that Mallam Sa’idu Umar, will continue to build upon our achievements when he resume office in 2023 by the special grace of God.

“Let me also commend the people of Sokoto State, for their resolve to support the candidate of Atiku Abubakar as the next President of the country.

‘I want to assure you that the government of Atiku Abubakar will deal with poverty, insecurity as well as eradicating corruption.

“I want to encourage you to give your vote for Atiku Abubakar as the next President as well as all the PDP candidates across the state, with that we can assure you the we will all work in synergy in the development of the country” he added.

Also, the governorship candidate, Sa’idu Umar Ubandoma, assured if voted into an office, he would continue and build on the good legacies of his predecessor.

According to Ubandoma” As we all know, we are into the eighth year of the Aminu Waziri Tambuwal administration and soon another election in 2023 will be conducted to give us another opportunity to sustain the tempo of service delivery as laid by our leader and incumbent governor”, he pointed out.

Ubandoma stressed that he and others were part of the purposeful and good governance of governor Tambuwal adding that when elected into office he will spearhead a beneficial government that will replicate lasting and meaningful legacies bequeath his predecessor.

“All the support given to our farmers, workers and all residents of the state will be built upon by my administration. We will not deviate from the Tambuwal administration and laid down procedure of governance.”

Meanwhile , the state PDP chairman, Bello Aliyu Goronyo, had earlier presented party flags to all the candidates including the governor and his deputy, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Manir Dan’Iya, who are both contesting for Senatorial seats.
