The AIG Zone 10, Sokoto, Mr Gyogon A. Grimah says his team of management is in full and responsive synergy with commands to strengthen and sustain operations that will yield results against insecurity.

The Zonal police boss also expressed conviction that with their efforts and devine intervention , the current security challenges would die a natural death for citizens to have some relief.
” It is our prayer that soon , the challenges would become history “, hoped Grimah as he added ” insecurity is not over until it is over. A life lost is worrisome and provokes concerns and we will not relent in evolving necessary operational tactics
”
” The zonal synergy is to effectively drive operations to sanitise the environment against all criminal activities for citizens to go about their lawful daily engagements.”
The Zone 10 command comprise of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states police commands.
Mr Grimah who before resuming in March 2025 as the new AIG incharge of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states was three times Commissioner of police in Cross River and Kaduna states said it was imperative to drive a working relationship with the states commissioners of police for a perfect understanding that would strengthen my vision and supervisory role against criminals and their nefarious activities.
” It is necessary to effectively and efficiently discharge our constitutional role on intelligence and operations within the zone.
” The commissioners of police are the hierarchy with the operational apparatus in their respective commands”, he stated assuring that the zone would not fail in it supervisory role across the three states.
He said the zonal command was not ready to know what criminals do but what the command is doing to tame situations.
” Criminals are not suppose to be given the space to feel they are important inorder not to dampen the spirit of security operatives ” We want to always believe in “tomorrow will be better than today” which is the driving force that keeps us moving.”
Grimah while identifying with the overwhelming support of the media , said reports must not fail to noted the responsibility and sensitivity of information or news story to the understanding of the public ” reports must first promote national interest and down play anything capable of igniting negative public reactions ” , he cautioned stressing that the zone would sustain better working relationship with the media to brace its operations.
