Armed Men Invades Popular Drinking Joint In Abuja, Shoots Commercial Sex ‎worker and one other

Two ‎armed men suspected to be robbers on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at about 9:30 pm stormed a popular joint known as Gallazy, located at Angwan Dodo in Gwagwalada area of Abuja, shooting three people, killing two on  the sport, while a young man who was identified as Sunday sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of bullet wounds. 
According ‎to reports, Sunday had come to barb his hair in a nearby barbing saloon before the fortunate incidence occur. 
Narrating the ordeal, an eyewitness who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, said, Mr. Sunday was just arriving at the saloon located close to the joint, trying to park his motor bike, immediately these  full armed men appeared and were asking everybody to lay down including people selling around the area. Sunday, while sighting at them was about turning his motor bike to run away as he saw others running for safety but one of the  robbers accosted him and asked him (Sunday) not to move an inch. That if he tried it he was going to shoot him. But Sunday out of  fear and shock was still trying to make his way out of the place for escape, immediately the robber shot him twice at a closed range.
After shooting Mr. Sunday, they (robbers) started ransacking everybody, collecting their valuable items, money and phones. 
As the operation was going on, the robbers proceeded to one of the commercial sex workers room, which building attached to the beer parlor and ceased her phone. But in her reaction trying to get her phone back from the robbers, that was how she was shot in the process, the source said.
The second person who also died at the sport was hit by the stray bullet as they were shooting sporadically. 
The remains of the two has been deposited at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada. 
Although, the Police have made some arrest in connection with the incident but further investigation is going on.
