This afternoon the Governor of Kaduna State launched live the first subnational e-procurement portal designed to improve transparency in public procurement of the state.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai, who thanked partners and all who have worked tirelessly to see that the portal goes live. The Governor has been applauded for making true his commitment for fiscal transparency and open government.
The portal according to experts linked directly to the open contracting portal will improve the space for access to information on all public procurement in the state.
The Nigerian Governors Forum, World Bank and the State Governors are in the ongoing meeting driven by State Fiscal Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability
