The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the 2019 governorship race Dr. Muhammad Sani Bello has dismissed rumours that he has withdrawn from the race.In a statement yesterday, Dr. Muhammad Sani Bello said he remained in the race, calling on his supporters to disregard any information that he is no longer vying for the seat in the state.
He said he would not disappoint the people that see in him the capacity to contest for the governorship seat in the state. To do so, he said would be an act of betrayal and a political suicide capable of ending his political career.
He said: “I want to use this opportunity to clear the air about my aspiration and intention for the seat of the governor in the state (kaduna). At no time did anybody or group of persons approached me on the matter, or asked me to step down for anybody or forfeit my mandate to anyone.
