An international Christian relief organization, Equipping the Persecuted (ETP), has concluded another round of humanitarian interventions in Nigeria, reaching thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) affected by violent attacks in parts of the country.

According to a statement released by the group lead, Judd Saul, the outreach — which took place simultaneously in Makurdi (Benue State), Barkin Ladi (Plateau State), and Nasarawa State — was successfully completed in just four days.
“Another successful trip to Nigeria completed! Three IDP camp interventions done simultaneously in Makurdi, Barkin Ladi, and Nasarawa completed in four days. Over 4,000 persecuted Christians were fed and received medical treatment,” the organization announced.

ETP further disclosed that it had opened a new medical clinic during the mission, where over 200 free surgeries were performed for displaced victims, many of whom have suffered years of neglect and poor access to healthcare.
The group expressed gratitude to its partners and donors for their continuous support, adding that the success of the operations was evidence of “God’s goodness” and the collective commitment to stand with Nigeria’s persecuted Christian communities.
“We couldn’t have done it without your support! God is good,” the statement added.
Founded in 2019 and based in the United States, Equipping the Persecuted works to provide food, medical care, education, and security assistance to victims of religious persecution across

Nigeria’s Middle Belt — a region that has witnessed years of violent attacks by armed groups, including Fulani militia and bandits.
In recent years, Benue, Plateau, and Nasarawa States have recorded repeated assaults on predominantly Christian farming communities, forcing thousands into overcrowded IDP camps. Humanitarian organizations like ETP have been among the few consistent responders, offering critical support to survivors.
The latest intervention underscores the group’s growing presence and ongoing commitment to aiding persecuted Christians and rebuilding hope in Nigeria’s most vulnerable communities.
