According to a formal police statement, the all-Senegalese group functioned as a “transnational” criminal enterprise with roots tracing back to 2017.
The network is accused of a harrowing list of offenses, including organized pedophilia, pimping, the rape of minors under the age of 15, and the intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS.
Investigators revealed that the gang systematically coerced young boys into unprotected sexual encounters with men who were predominantly HIV-positive, recording the abuse for further exploitation.
The crackdown followed a collaborative international trail, with four of the suspects allegedly acting under the direct coordination of a French national who was apprehended in France in April 2025.
Authorities noted that these operations were fueled by financial incentives, with the local perpetrators receiving consistent money transfers in exchange for carrying out the instructions of their overseas contact.
