President Bola Tinubu has declared three days of national mourning following a military aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State, which claimed the lives of all 32 personnel on board.

The President also ordered flags to be flown at half-mast nationwide as a mark of respect for the victims and directed a full investigation into the cause of the disaster.
In a statement issued on Monday, presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga conveyed President Tinubuβs deepest condolences to the families of the 25 passengers and seven crew members involved, as well as to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, and the entire personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.
Military authorities confirmed that all 32 individuals aboard the aircraft perished in the crash.
The passenger plane was executing a routine mission from Benin City, Edo State, to Lagos when it went down in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State shortly after 9:00 a.m.
