The high-profile event featured the official unveiling of the project’s comprehensive impact assessment report, alongside goodwill messages, project outcome presentations, and direct testimonies from grassroots women beneficiaries.

Welcoming delegates and strategic partners to the ceremony, the TWC Project Manager and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Technical Expert, Mrs. Juliana Joseph, set the tone for the event by highlighting the project’s milestones over the past 36 months.

Following the opening remarks, Programme Director Safiya Ibn Garba delivered a goodwill message, commending the resilience of local communities, civil society partners, and government agencies whose collaboration drove the initiative’s success across target areas.

A key highlight of the closing ceremony was the formal presentation and unveiling of the 3-Year TWC Project Outcome and Impact Assessment Report. Delivering the presentation, the Project MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Focal Person, Mr. Mendie Jeremiah, outlined critical data points, community-level progress, key lessons learned, and systemic changes achieved throughout the project’s lifecycle.

The event also provided a platform for key partners, Ministry, Department, and Agency (MDA) officials, and invited experts to deliver goodwill messages praising the project’s grassroots execution.

Bringing the human impact of the initiative to life, beneficiary representatives from the Kujama Women Cooperative and the Kasuwan Magani Women Cooperative delivered presentations detailing how the TWC Project directly empowered local women, built economic resilience, and strengthened social protection systems within their communities.

The ceremony ended on a high note with community celebrations, group photos, and a collective commitment from government agencies and local partners to sustain the achievements and community structures established by the Together We Can Project.
