In a post shared on X, the songwriter claimed that the melodies for Ayefele’s 2012 track “My Faith in God (Igbagbo Ireti)” and BBO’s recent single “Amin” were both lifted from his original work, “Seven Lifes.”
Beautiful Nubia, who is renowned for his culturally rooted sound, expressed deep concern over the lack of respect for intellectual property and original creativity within the gospel music industry.
To date, neither Ayefele nor BBO has issued a public statement regarding these claims.
