This update comes in response to widespread public appeals for the veteran publisher to mediate the heated child custody battle between the musician and his first baby mama.
The legal tension recently saw a shift when Davido reportedly moved to withdraw the custody case.
This followed a court session where Sophia’s legal team made reference to the tragic passing of the singer’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Addressing the situation from Liberia, where he is currently commiserating with former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor over the loss of her child, Dele Momodu clarified that both families are working toward an amicable resolution.
He noted that despite the public nature of the dispute, private efforts are being made to end the disagreement and find a peaceful way forward for all parties involved.
