Renowned gospel artist Bunmi Akinnanu, famous for the song “Omije Ojumi,” has passed away.

Her death was confirmed on Tuesday evening following a long battle with a serious leg ailment that had caused persistent bleeding and mobility issues.
In late 2025, the singer had sought public prayers after a video of her seeking healing at a church in Ibadan went viral, drawing widespread concern from fans.
Despite organized prayer vigils and social media support, a close source confirmed she died this week. An official statement from her family is expected soon.
