Following a scoreless 120 minutes at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou proved the hero, saving two Nigerian spot-kicks to secure the win.
Despite Nigeria’s defensive resilience, the team struggled offensively, managing only two shots against Morocco’s sixteen.
Morocco will now face Senegal in Sunday’s final, while the Super Eagles are set to battle Egypt for the third-place bronze medal this Saturday.
