Public reactions have continued to pour in following Senator Ned Nwoko’s shocking claims against his wife, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.

The controversy erupted after a video emerged online on Saturday showing Regina appearing visibly distressed and accusing her husband of domestic violence.
In a swift response on Sunday, Senator Nwoko denied the allegations, attributing his wife’s behaviour to what he described as the influence of drugs and alcohol. The Delta North lawmaker, in a statement shared on his social media pages, said Regina needed urgent rehabilitation, warning that he feared for her safety.
According to him, the actress had moved to a location where she had “full access to drugs,” allegedly supplied by her brother, identified as Sammy, and another individual he described as “a tiny evil devil called Ann.”
The senator’s remarks have sparked a wave of reactions across social media. While some users backed his account, others questioned the credibility of his claims and called for caution in airing private family matters publicly.
As of press time, Regina Daniels is yet to issue any official statement addressing her husband’s allegations.\
