The defensive midfielder is suspended for the crucial game after receiving yellow cards in two consecutive knockout matches, first against Mozambique in the Round of 16 and most recently during the 2-0 victory over Algeria in the quarter-finals.
His absence leaves a major gap in the Nigerian midfield, with Raphael Onyedika expected to join the starting eleven as his replacement. Despite the setback, the Super Eagles are preparing to face the hosts in Rabat for a spot in the final.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. In Ndidi’s absence, star striker Victor Osimhen is expected to lead the team as captain.
