President Donald Trump has warned Iran of “very strong action” as reports emerge that 26-year-old protester Erfan Soltani is scheduled for execution today.

The warning follows a violent crackdown that has claimed over 2,400 lives and prompted Trump to message Iranians that “help is on the way.”
In response to the crisis, the U.S. is weighing military options and has already imposed 25% tariffs on any nation trading with Iran.
While Iran accuses the U.S. of seeking a pretext for intervention, a widespread internet blackout continues to hinder the verification of events inside the country.
