Further details have emerged regarding the tragic passing of popular Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, known professionally as Toluwanisings, following disclosures by his personal assistant, Babadunni Gbolabo.

Gbolabo revealed that the 34-year-old artist was rushed to seven or eight different hospitals across Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, after collapsing suddenly on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

According to the personal assistant, all emergency attempts to secure medical treatment failed as health facilities turned the singer away.

Gbolabo stated that several hospitals cited an ongoing strike action for the absence of doctors on duty, while others outrightly refused to admit him.

Toluwanisings was subsequently pronounced dead on Wednesday, sparking intense public debate and criticism surrounding emergency medical protocols and health infrastructure readiness across the country.
