Stakeholders Conduct Facility Inspection at FUAS Kachia, Reaffirm Commitment to Educational Excellence

A high-level delegation led by Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, alongside Mr. Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Professor Barnabas William Quirix, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUAS), conducted a facility inspection tour of the university earlier today.

Also part of the delegation was Hon. Amos Daniel, who described the visit as a critical milestone in evaluating the university’s ongoing development projects and identifying key areas needing further intervention and support.

According to Hon. Daniel, the tour served not only as an avenue to inspect physical infrastructure but also as a platform for strategic engagement with the university’s leadership. He emphasized the shared vision of transforming FUAS into a hub of innovation, academic excellence, and applied research in Nigeria.

“This inspection underscores the strategic importance of FUAS Kachia to the future of education and technology in Southern Kaduna and the nation at large,” he said.

He commended Senator Katung for his steadfast advocacy for the institution and acknowledged the efforts of all stakeholders committed to seeing FUAS achieve its full potential.

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, was established to provide practical, science-based education that meets Nigeria’s evolving technological needs. Today’s inspection is seen as a reaffirmation of the government’s and stakeholders’ resolve to ensure the university thrives as a catalyst for development in the region.
