Minister of Interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who announced the schedule on Monday, urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of the season through kindness and national unity.

To ensure a hitch-free celebration, Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has ordered a massive nationwide security mobilization. Tactical units and operational assets have been deployed to high-traffic areas, worship centers, and recreational hubs to preempt any security threats.

While the government encourages festive joy, the police command has emphasized a “zero-tolerance” policy for lawlessness during the three-day holiday window.
