A formal appointment and inauguration of a Coordinators and Local Governments line Ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been conducted with Alhaji Haruna S. Adiya as the State Coordinator to drive the initiative in the caliphate.

The initiative is aimed at bracing strategic massive mobilisation , uniting citizens and projecting the development and transformation drive of the President and All Progressives Congress down the grassroots towards a prosperous Sokoto state and Nigeria.
In his keynote address , the state APC Chairman, Hon. Sadik Isah Achida noted that the drive was purely developmental and service to humanity describing the Ambassadors as dependable figures whose track records were impeccable with purposeful efforts.
” You are men of timber and calibre that can be relied upon to drive the task to success.
” Already, RHA in Sokoto state is counted successful”, urging the appointees to work in synergy with official in the party hierarchy at the local government levels to achieve the desired results.
The state RHA Secretary, Ibrahim Ibrahim Gusau who described the initiative as a renewed journey of hope , service and commitment to Sokoto people, said the Ambassadors must not fail to note that the task goes beyond titles and positions, but a bridge between vision and reality and leadership and grassroots.
” Is all about making inroad as to how it reaches and deeply impact lives of our people.
” It is a call to action . Progress is never achieved standing still. It is achieved by moving forward together in unity with courage and power to inspire , mobilise and transform communities “, he state urging, the RHA Ambassadors to embrace the task with determination as it started today to strengthen opportunities that echo in the lives of countless citizens tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in his speech, the state Coordinator, Haruna S. Adiya while inaugurating the LGs RHA Ambassadors, noted that it was a pivotal moment in collective journey towards a brighter future.
He said the Ambassadors must reflect their responsibilities in serving as torchbearers of hope, unity, and progress their respective local governments.
According to the Coordinator, they should res po actively spread the message of RHA and adequately mobilise the grassroots through collective action for development.
He said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was tirelessly strengthening and unlocking window of opportunities to reposition Nigeria through impactful reforms.
This, he enumerated among others, unification of exchange rates across multiple foreign exchange markets and the reduction of inflation to manageable levels; Fiscal deficit reduction and increased national revenue generation;
Construction of major infrastructure projects such as the Sokoto–Badagry Highway (ongoing), Kano–Katsina–Maradi Standard Gauge Rail (nearing completion), and the Kaduna–Kano Rail Line.
Others Adiya mentioned include : nationwide student loan scheme with over ₦95.6 billion already disbursed; Creation of over 240,000 jobs through micro, small, and medium enterprises; 3-Million Technical Talent Programme through digital skills training.
Also , the Distribution of ₦200 billion in loans to farmers and agro-processors; Fertiliser support to farmers worth ₦100 billion; Enactment of the Electricity Act of 2023, which decentralised the power sector; Disbursement of ₦330 billion to households through social intervention programmes and Construction of over 8,000 new healthcare centres nationwide, to mention just a few.
He urged the Ambassadors to embody the values of integrity, transparency, and selfless service noting that their efforts would be instrumental in driving grassroots development, promoting social cohesion, and supporting government initiatives at both federal and state levels for a better Nigeria.
” I urge you to embrace this responsibility with passion and dedication and call on our people to support these ambassadors as they work tirelessly to bring positive change to our communities”, he appealed stressing that together with all citizens the drive would renew hopes, rebuild the country, and create a brighter future for all Nigerians through impactful service to bequeath lasting legacy.
In his vote of thanks , a former House if Representative’s members also an Ambassador, Musa S. Adar acknowledged with appreciation the vigour with which the initiative was driven to further reawaken Nigerians on the strides and strategic policies of the federal government of President Tinubu , pointing out that as Ambassadors, they wil objectively, honestly and dedicate their spirit of sacrifice with sincerity in promoting and projecting the objective of the RHA down the grassroots.
” We will collectively drive the course to reality”, he vowed as all speakers appreciated and commended Senator Aliyu Wamakko and Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto for their unified strategy of promoting the APC leadership ideals of the President and showcasing the developmental strides in Sokoto state.
