The governor gave the assurance while distributing compensation checks to 122 households affected by the construction of the 15-kilometer Ring Road project, which runs from Danbushiya Junction to Danhono 2 in Millennium City.

Governor Sani explained that construction on the project was temporarily halted when it became clear that several homes fell within the right-of-way, allowing the government to conduct a transparent and equitable assessment of the properties.

Describing the compensation exercise as an act of justice rather than charity, Sani emphasized his commitment to balancing urban infrastructure development with the rights and welfare of citizens.

He commended the affected residents for their patience and cooperation, noting that the payments are intended to help families relocate and rebuild with dignity.
