Renowned Nollywood actress and film producer, Ruth Kadiri, has opened up on her decision to keep her personal life and marriage away from public view, revealing that a personal phobia of marriage influenced the choice.

Speaking during a recent episode of the *Dear Ife* podcast, the mother of two explained that uncertainty about the future of her relationship made her hesitant to publicize it in its early stages.
According to her she had a phobia of marriage and was unsure whether her marriage would be successful, so she decided to keep it private.
She shared that her husband, Mr. Ezerika, fully supported her stance, agreeing to an intimate ceremony with a tight guest list of just 50 people when they wed in a private ceremony around November 2018.
The couple has since built a quiet family life, welcoming their first daughter in August 2019 and their second daughter in July 2022.
