The Spokesperson to the Secretary to the Yobe State Government (SSG), Hon. Ibrahim Baba Saleh, has paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Tikau, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema II, PhD.
Saleh paid the homage after casting his vote in the ongoing local government election in the state.
During the visit, the SSG’s spokesperson acknowledged the traditional institution’s role in promoting peace, unity and development within the emirate and the state at large.
He also expressed his respect for the Emir and the traditional council, describing traditional rulers as important stakeholders in maintaining stability and fostering development at the grassroots.
The visit was part of Saleh’s activities after participating in the local government electoral process.
The Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema II, PhD, received the government official at his palace.
