Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan, born Martins Vincent Otse, has publicly accused Lagos-based auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, of introducing self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing Okoro (Blessing CEO) to illicit drugs.

VeryDarkMan made the allegations in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday while announcing his intention to intervene and assist in securing Blessing CEO’s release from custodial detention.
Blessing CEO was remanded earlier in the year in connection with a ₦69.15 million property fraud trial, as well as separate charges alleging she defrauded the public of ₦36 million under false claims of stage 4 cancer.
In July 2026, a court granted her bail set at ₦10 million for the fraud charges and ₦20 million for the property dispute.
Despite meeting the prescribed court conditions, her continued detention sparked public inquiry, with figures such as Nollywood actress Doris Ogala questioning administrative delays in processing her release.
The scrutiny intensified following news of the death of Blessing CEO’s second son, Bryan, who reportedly suffered a fatal asthma attack.
Addressing the ongoing controversy, VeryDarkMan alleged that Blessing CEO became involved with substance abuse through her associate IVD, claiming her financial distress and subsequent legal troubles stemmed from selling personal property to fund drug usage.
Neither Ogbonna nor legal representatives for Blessing CEO have issued formal statements responding to VeryDarkMan’s allegations.
