Official statistics from his main channel, Nathaniel Bassey Main, revealed that the platform accumulated over 1.014 billion views and reached 5.24 million subscribers as of Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Created on March 4, 2011, the channel has accumulated its milestone viewership through a catalog of widely acclaimed gospel compositions, live worship sessions, and ongoing virtual prayer meetings over more than a decade of consistent releases.

The milestone directly coincides with the conclusion of the October 2026 edition of the Hallelujah Challenge, an online midnight prayer and praise initiative launched by Bassey in June 2017.

The international Christian movement, which attracts hundreds of thousands of live participants alongside millions of post-stream views, has served as a primary engine driving the channel’s rapid audience expansion.

The achievement places Bassey among an elite tier of African musical acts to cross the one-billion view landmark on the platform, cementing the expanding global footprint of African gospel music.
