Gov. Aliyu Mourns Gada Village Head, Describes Death as Great Loss

Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has expressed deep condolences to the family and community of the late Village Head of Gada, Alhaji Ibrahim Isah, describing his death as a significant loss to the state.

The Governor paid a condolence visit to Gada community following the passing of the traditional ruler a few weeks ago, where he extolled the virtues of the deceased, whom he described as a pious, humble and God-fearing leader devoted to the service of his people.

Governor Aliyu said the late Alhaji Ibrahim Isah lived an exemplary life marked by honesty, dedication and commitment to community development, noting that his demise would be greatly felt not only in Gada but across Sokoto State.

“The death of Alhaji Ibrahim Isah is a great loss to Gada community, Sokoto State and beyond,” the Governor said, while praying Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and comfort his immediate family and the entire community.

Responding on behalf of the family, the younger brother of the deceased, Ambassador Sahabi Isa Gada, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the condolence visit and prayers. He prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and blessings on the Governor as he steers the affairs of the state.

Ambassador Gada also commended Governor Aliyu for the people-oriented projects being implemented across Sokoto State, noting that Gada Local Government Area is benefiting from several of the administration’s developmental initiatives.

The visit concluded with special prayers offered for the repose of the soul of the late Village Head and for sustained peace and harmonious coexistence across Sokoto State.
