Group Calls For Inclusion In Benue State

PDP support group in Benue state has called for the inclusion of Oju and Obi local government area in holding key political position in the state.

Hon. Celestine Jato, former supervisory councilor for Revenue, Makurdi LG council made the call while addressing journalists during a meeting on behalf of the Benue PDP Campaign Rural Network.

Jato lamented that since Nigeria was created no one from Oju and Obi local government area as been appointed an ambassador or minister.

He further said : “From now on we advocate and strongly recommend that this type of loopsided leadership structure, injustice and neglect and marginalization should be stopped”.

Hon. Jato went further to drum support for Dr Jonah Ogbaji, A Benue PDP chairmanship aspirant from Oju and Obi local government area, calling on people of the state to do the same.
