The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has firmly restated its zero tolerance for any act of fraudulence in the mobilization of graduates for national service.

This was the central message delivered by the Scheme’s Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, during his keynote address at the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Pre-Mobilisation Workshop held in Abuja.
In a statement by Caroline Embu, Director, Information and Public Relations, the DG affirmed that the NYSC has earned public confidence due to its transparent mobilization process over the years.
However, he noted that the activities of unapproved study centres remain a major concern, as some of them operate under dubious affiliations with accredited institutions, threatening the integrity of the process. The DG stressed that the commitment to a credible mobilization process is paramount.
