Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for Abia State, Doris Ogala, has accused prominent clergymen Pastor Jerry Eze and Apostle Johnson Suleman of conspiring with Pastor Chris Okafor to orchestrate her remand in custody.

The allegations were raised in a series of social media messages posted on her verified handle following her remand at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre by the Lagos State High Court.

Ogala was remanded pending a formal bail hearing over a four-count charge brought by the police.

The charges include cyberstalking, cyberbullying, unauthorized publication of Pastor Chris Okafor’s personal materials, attempted extortion, and dissemination of false information to incriminate the Grace Nation Bible Ministry founder.

Speaking through statements released online after her court appearance, Ogala asserted that Pastors Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman joined forces with Okafor to silence her because she possesses sensitive personal information regarding them.

She further alleged a plot to eliminate her while in detention and urged the public to hold the religious leaders accountable if any harm befalls her.

“They are afraid of me. That’s why they want me gone,” Ogala wrote, while also alleging that the legal maneuvers were designed to derail her 2027 gubernatorial campaign in Abia State.

Neither Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Johnson Suleman, nor representatives of Pastor Chris Okafor have issued formal responses to the latest allegations.

The Lagos High Court is expected to hear Ogala’s bail application on Friday, October 30, 2026.
