The first half ended in a 0-0 draw at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
In the second half, Lesotho opened the scoring through Motlomelo Mkhwanazi in the 56th minute.
However, the Super Eagles levelled in the 67th minute, thanks to Semi Ajayi’s header.
The match eventually ended in a 1-1 draw after full-time, as both teams shared a point each.
Nigeria will now face Zimbabwe in their next game on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has attributed his side’s 1-1 draw against Lesotho to bad luck.
Peseiro stated that it was a bad day for his side.
“We had 76% of the ball possession against 24% (by Lesotho), the opponents only had two chances to score and scored a goal,” he said after the game.
“We had many chances to score. It was bad luck.”
