Workers Trapped As Building In Kano Collapses

An unknown number of workers have been reportedly trapped at a collapsed building in Kano State.

The building is located in the Kuntau area of Gwale Local Government Area of the state.

At least, 11 persons are trapped under the rubble, sources disclosed.

Rescue operations are currently ongoing while some corpses have been recovered. Two persons were rescued to have been rushed to the hospital by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

However, the painstaking excavation efforts continue unabated, with responders laboring tirelessly to locate and rescue any remaining trapped individuals.

The exact cause of the tragic collapse remains shrouded in mystery, prompting local authorities to initiate a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
