Olabanji expressed his frustrations in an Instagram video posted on Thursday, where he highlighted the economic hardship facing everyday Nigerians, the plight of ailing celebrities, and the decaying state of the country’s healthcare infrastructure.
Without naming specific individuals, Olabanji condemned colleagues who use their platforms to shield bad governance instead of holding leaders accountable.
He warned that the long-term consequences of such endorsements would ultimately harm future generations, including the children of the entertainers involved.
The actor also called out unnamed peers who allegedly assisted politicians in distributing food items—such as rice and beans—during campaign rallies, questioning the long-term value of the compensation they received during the 2023 general elections compared to the current socio-economic reality.
