Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has announced his intention to contest for the Nnewi North Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

The actor made his declaration on Saturday after officially obtaining a membership form for the African Democratic Congress in his hometown of Ozubulu Ekwusigo Local Government Area.
This political move follows previous reports of the actor’s involvement with the All Progressives Congress and the City Boys Movement which supports President Bola Tinubu.
His decision to run under the opposition ADC is expected to influence the political landscape in Anambra State as the 2027 general elections approach.
