In the same vein, it accused  Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of gross anti party activities, demanding him to declare his political position within 48hrs.

” His anti party activities that are being widely broadcasted on the media must be thoroughly investigated and dealt with as a matter of urgency since 2019 politiking  ‎is in the offing.
” We are ready to continue to pursue and ensure the success of Buhari’s 2019 agenda if the governor refuses to declare ‎his stand within the time line”, the group vowed.
Similarly, it said as patriots and committed party faithful also strongly oppose and distanced the group from any move by the existing party structure in the state to truncate and thwart President Buhari’s 2019 ambition through subterfuge and pplitical horse trading akin to the 2015 PDP rapture.
Addressing a press conference at the Nigerian Union of Journalists secretariat on Zuru road, Professor Muhammad Lawal Bashar who is the Chairman, APC Adalci Buhari Sak said the group had endured series of maneuvers and intimidation against Buhari’s supporters in Sokoto state by what it described as desparate and inordinate political opportunists‎ who rode on Buhari’s popularity to their positions” we shall leave them with no chance to repeat those clnadsetine actions”, Bashar said.
” Buhari supporters have been systematically sidelined ‎and alienated from a government we collectively put together.”
Accordingly, the group which allegedly noted with concern how governor Tambuwal continued to undermine the war on corruption crusade through the termination of all corrupt cases against members of his cabinet pending before the state High Court, pointed out that” Since
Tambuwal took mantle of leadership of the state, he closed the gate of Government House to all Buhari supporters and widely opened for PDP supporters and APC sworn Buhari enemies.
It further demanded Governor Tambuwal to make an unequivocal statement on where he stand politically” we want to know his valid political position‎ whether or not he is with Buhari.”
” To also buttress our point, the recent appointments of Special Assistants are mainly from ‎ PDP card carrying members and Buhari sworn enemies within the APC”, Professor Bashar stressed.
However, the group which consist of mainly members of the defunct CPC in the state also accused Governor Tambuwal of pervasive culture of unbridled non-consultative and poor performance in governance in the state which it said was taking an unacceptable dimensions” perhaps the old order is taking the new Sokoto state for granted, as the state was known for its culture of silence in the midst of impunity and mismangement”, the Buhari Sak group noted.
In the same vein, it expressed vehement worries on the squalor, poverty and degrading con‎dition in which the people of the state were thrown into while government officials were living in affluence and ostentation, squandering public funds in the guise of assisting electorates without commensurate social infrastructure as well significant improvement.
“We have noticed with heat touching concern the progressive erosion of educational infrastructure ‎and absence of welfare programme for teachers despite dubious declaration of the so called” Emergency on Education” embarked upon about three years ago.
‎The group hitherto, called on all APC members in the state to support its journey to stop the atrocities against the good people of Sokoto state and the National Executive of APC in reconstituting the state executive in line with the merger agreement that produced the party.
” We are calling on the Tinubu led reconciliation committee not to delay it’s visit to Sokoto state to avoid the escalation of the situation currently in the state”, the group appealed.
