2023 AFCON U-20: Flying Eagles Coach Drops 15 Players

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso, has revealed why he dropped 15 players from the team’s camp.
The affected players were decamped last weekend.
The Flying Eagles set up camp in Abuja ahead of the 2023 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations in Abuja last week Monday.
According to the coach Players with injuries are not accepted because the national team is not a rehabilitation centre, so he asked them to go and finish their treatment and probably, will meet the rest in January.

He added that those ones with passport issues, will not play in the national team.
Bosso has already extended invitation to new players to beef up the team as they intensify preparations ahead of the competition.

The Flying Eagles played three friendlies last week and are expected to engage in more tune-up games before they embark on Christmas and New Year break.
Egypt will host the Under-20 AFCON from February 18 to March 12, 2023.
