A staunch supporter and youth wing member of the All Progressives Congress , Anas Dan- Na Yaba has said that Nigerians will not regret their support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president .
He said despite the thorny experience amidst denial of funds during the Obasanjo era , the former Lagos state governor significantly demonstrated competence, resilience and ability to turn around economic fortunes of the former Nigeria’s capital to one cited today as a true commercial hub of Africa followed by Kano state.
” He did what many including his contending opponents for the seat of the president could not have done if they were given such treatment. The concept of transforming Lagos economy by Tinubu using the best template approach is unequalled and evergreen on the minds of an average progressive”, he pointed out.
Speaking exclusively to The Nation Sunday in Sokoto, Anas a frontline young politician said he and other like minds in the party in Sokoto state were working assiduously for both Tinubu and Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto , the party’s governorship candidate victories in the 2023 polls.
” We are curiously mobilising support for our Presidential , governorship and other line elective position candidates to ensure the party sweeps all seats in Sokoto state.”
According to Anas who insisted that Tinubu was a detribalised Nigerian politician with passion for transformation in all spheres of the economy, said Asiwaju believed in the politics of ideology, development , growth and unity of purpose that will strengthen a prosperous Nigeria.
” He is transformative with human oriented approach capable of turning around economic fortunes of the country.
” His vision is to see a wonderfully secured and developed nation , full of empowerment opportunities in unity”, he pointed out.
In the same vein, he explained that the state governorship candidate, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and his running mate , Ahmed Idris Danchadi Sabon Birni were two of a kind that the people of Sokoto state were long been yearning for to come on board and rescue them from the shackles of PDP bad governance in the state .
” Their combination as resilient, capable and committed young men politicians seem to brighten the hope of the youths , women and old in the state.
” We are fearless of the fact that the duo are career politicians who have the experience, tested and trusted as dependable individuals that can take the state to the pinnacle of development and prosperity being yearned for “, he stated.
He said APC was built on common visionary agenda for transformation , change and upliftment of Nigerians through results oriented policies and programmes aimed at improving the economy, security and tackling corruption inorder to ensure development and growth of the country.
” We are not relenting in working our talk for the good people of Nigeria. We have what it takes to drive to the promised land of hope ,full of opportunities and prosperity for all Nigerians “, he boasted.
