Veteran Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has broken his silence regarding a trending video with his ex-wife, Annie Idibia, clarifying that the clip currently circulating on social media is outdated.

Speculation of a potential reconciliation swept across social media after a video surfaced showing the former couple dancing together.
The video triggered mixed reactions online, with fans and celebrities expressing shock given the high-profile nature of their past separation.
Prior to 2Baba’s statement, Annie addressed the speculation on her Instagram story, writing, “Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense.”
2Baba subsequently corroborated her position on his own Instagram story, putting an end to the rumours by confirming the footage was filmed long before their split.
The clarification comes a year and six months after the couple officially announced their separation.
