Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has called on those in opposition in the state to jettison and burry all differences and forge for the development of the state promising to provide more critical infrastructure that benefits citizens across the state.
Aliyu Sokoto stated on Wednesday at the inauguration of the Tamaje Area urban water scheme and Mabera Area road projects in the state metropolis.
He said ” keep opposition aside and embrace the moment which is time for delivering human oriented projects”
According to the governor ” our government is for all in the state and let those in opposition know that we have nothing before us but develop the state .
” We should wait for campaigns period to fully drive opposition comments and statements. Now we are working to take the dividends of democracy to every nook and crannies across the state”, he stressed.
However, the governor explained that appealed to people of the state to safeguard all infrastructural projects meant to benefit them and should protect such facilities from destruction especially the newly constructed road projects.
He added ” the road projects which are supported with solar powered street lights would beautify and add value to landed property in the area”, he stated .
He said his administration would continue to strengthen it policies with consideration to the yearnings , aspirations and expectations of the people of the state inorder to spread development that benefits all in the spirit of delivering the dividends of democracy.
