The Minister for Aviation , Festus Keyamo days President Bola Tinubu’s visionary policies drive are exceptionally tailored at transforming key sectors of the economy that benefit Nigerians.
He said the President in his wisdom , consistently encouraged performance through initiatives with state governments that promoted collaboration for the prosperity of the country.
Keyamo said on Thursday in Sokoto while inaugurating the N1.2bn connecting road and rounded about to the Sultan Abubakar III International airport , Sokoto and the foundation laying of a modern VIP Lounge terminal at the airport.
He said the President’s drive was a deliberate initiative to further encourage better synergy that expand the aviation facilities for improved services in the sector.
Keyamo noted that governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto was a rare democrat that symbolises productivity and commitment to serve the public stressing that the governor had taken public projects serious to be abandoned.
” You are a rare symbol of commitment to the course of driving positive legacies that benefit the public and people of Sokoto state and Nigeria.
” Collaboration and responsive synergy between states and FG is necessary to achieve key success “, he pointed out while commending the governor for been an exemplary leadership with visionary style of administration that defined Sokoto state as a gateway.
The Minister noted that the projects were significant to the state economic and tourism potentials adding that ” it is wise investments that promote and can attract visitors (tourists), beautiful and transform the caliphate’s hospital and historic standings before the world.”
