Nigeria’s national U20 women’s team, the Falconets, maintained a perfect start at the WAFU B U20 Girls’ Cup by defeating the Benin Republic 3-0 in their second match yesterday.

Coach Moses Aduku’s side took the lead in the 15th minute through Kareem Ramotalahi. Kareem then doubled Nigeria’s advantage in the 58th minute, skillfully dribbling past a defender before slotting the ball into the net. The victory was sealed deep into stoppage time when Precious Oscar added the third goal.
The Falconets previously secured an opening fixture win against Ghana with a 3-1 scoreline on Saturday.
Nigeria now tops the standings with six points and prepares for their next crucial match—a return fixture against Ghana—scheduled for Tuesday, November 11.
