Defence Minister Christopher Musa Denies Resignation Rumours, Cites Progress in Security Efforts

The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has firmly refuted claims alleging that he submitted his resignation from office, describing the reports as entirely baseless.

Addressing State House correspondents following a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, General Musa clarified that he has neither contemplated nor initiated any steps toward leaving his position.

He attributed the widespread rumours to disgruntled individuals who are displeased with the current administration’s ongoing achievements and strategic progress in tackling the nation’s security challenges.
