Popular Nigerian dancer, hypeman, and entertainer, Iweh Odinaka, widely known as Poco Lee, has been formally charged with five sexual offences in the United Kingdom.

The charges were officially confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London following official correspondence with Nigerian media outlets.
According to James Baker, an Administrative Team Leader at the court, the legal breakdown of the five counts filed against the entertainer includes: One count of attempted rape, Two counts of rape and Two counts of assault by penetration.
The dancer, who is currently being held on remand in a UK prison, is scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
In response to the developments, Poco Lee’s management and legal team released a statement cautioning the public and media against circulating unverified claims—specifically addressing online rumors regarding “drink spiking,” which they clarified do not form part of the official charges before the court.
His team emphasized that the charges remain allegations at this stage and maintained that the entertainer is entitled to a fair trial and the presumption of innocence under the law.
