….Says two months, two weeks in office have produced healthcare, road, culvert and secretariat projects

The Chairman of Nafada Local Government Area of Gombe State has highlighted projects executed during his first two months and two weeks in office, including healthcare facilities, a culvert and improvements to the local government secretariat.
He disclosed this on Monday while receiving journalists from Abuja who visited to discuss his administration’s activities, achievements and priorities.
The projects include the construction of two primary healthcare facilities, fencing of another healthcare centre and construction of a culvert linking rural communities to the main road.
According to the chairman, the culvert will ease residents’ access to Nafada and other areas, which had been difficult because of poor road connectivity.
He added that his administration was also upgrading the local government secretariat to create a more modern and presentable working environment.
The chairman said the projects reflected his commitment to delivering tangible development despite the short time since he assumed office.
Commends Governor Inuwa
The chairman commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya for his administration’s developmental strides across Gombe State, particularly road and other infrastructure projects linking local government areas with villages and rural communities.
He said the projects were improving accessibility and encouraging socio-economic activities. He also cited a bridge and road construction in Nafada and surrounding communities, which he said had improved connectivity.
The chairman described the governor’s urban development initiatives as efforts to give Gombe a modern outlook, while praising the administration for extending infrastructure beyond the state capital.
Calls for Continuity
The chairman said Governor Inuwa Yahaya should continue serving the public beyond the state level. Referring to the governor’s reported aspiration to contest for the Senate in 2027, he said his state-level experience could benefit the federal legislature.
He also urged APC members and supporters to remain committed to the party ahead of the 2027 general elections, arguing that continued support would help sustain the development programmes he attributed to the administration.
The interaction allowed the chairman to outline his administration’s early interventions and discuss Gombe’s broader development agenda and political outlook ahead of 2027.
He maintained that his administration would continue prioritising projects with direct and measurable benefits for Nafada residents.
