Popular Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing has confirmed the arrest of the woman who secretly took a photo of her at the gym.

The arrest follows a period of mixed reactions and widespread body-shaming online, which was triggered by a viral picture of the actress working out.
Initially reacting to the ridicule, Blessing had stressed that she attends the gym solely to stay fit, not for fashion shows or the runway.
However, speaking later on the Honest Bunch podcast, the actress broke down in tears while lamenting the body-shaming directed at her.
Announcing the subsequent arrest of the woman, Nkechi accused her of taking the photo at the gym without her knowledge specifically to body-shame her natural figure. She explained that the gym management initially withheld the woman’s information before her arrest was secured.
