The Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Plateau State has called for calm and peaceful coexistence in the face of provocation to violence by hoodlums spreading rumors of the killing of their relations in far away Abia State.
The State chairman of the ADP,Chief Amb Nanyah Andrew Daman(JP) made the call in Jos at Party secretariat to Journalists on Friday 15th September,2017 on the unnecessary tension that took place around Muhammadu Wada street and Chorbe Junction of Jos North LGA of the State.
Daman said it was wrong for hoodlums to start attacking people in Jos without any reason and frowns at the action which may send a negative signal to the outside world.
On the unfortunate murder of a Tarok youth (Comr. Jerry Mantim) because he is fair,the ADP chairman calls for caution and restraint not to drag the issue and label it a religious or ethnic that may lead to an uncontrollable clashes in the state.He warned merchant’s of violence and hurt to stay away from Plateau State.
The chairman of the ADP,the youths and women driven political party and the fastest growing political party in Nigeria today,urged President Muhammadu Buhari to invite the Biafran agitators and IPOB leaders to a round table to discuss and address the alleged marginalisation of the South East and withdraw the Nigerian Army from the streets of Umuahia.
On the invasion of the Nigeria Union of journalists Secretariat in Umuahia,Abia State,the vibrant and resourceful advocate of good governance,Chief Amb Nanyah Andrew Daman condemned the action of the Nigerian Army in totality.
