The importance of cultural integration as a tool for peace building in Nigeria was the focus of a costume party organised by the actors guild of Nigeria, AGN, Kaduna chapter this Thursday in Kaduna.
The costume party which was graced by past and present exco of the guild, members and other stakeholders, showcased a rich display of Nigeria’s cultural attires.
The chairman of AGN Kaduna Chapter, Hajia Salma Ibrahim, in an exclusive chat with Procyon News said the costume party is organised to help the members celebrate their various culture
Hajia Salma further stressed the need for all AGN members to join hands with the exco in the state to attract more movie productions to Kaduna state.
Also speaking on the sidelines of the event is a former AGN Kaduna chairman and movie producer, Rilwan Ibeifo. He commended the exco and advised the members to focus on activities that will help them develop their creativity.
Invited guests and members were thrilled by the various stage performances, costume display and dànce competition by members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
