The legendary singer, Tina Turner, has passed away at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland.
Tina Turner an American-born and naturalized Swiss singer, dancer, actress and author. Widely referred to as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before launching a successful career as a solo performer.
She is survived by three children.
