…says election a sham
Deputy Director General, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kaduna State Campaign organization, Comrade Danjuma Comrade Danjuma Sarki has alleged that the presidential election held in Kaduna on February 27, 2019 was heavily rigged in favour of the ruling party and its candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari.
He expressed that when fielding questions from newsmen on Thursday in Kaduna after a 1,000 support groups paid a solidarity meeting with the Kaduna State Gubernatorial candidate, Honourable Isa Ashiru Kudan at the Areas House, Kaduna.
“The election was rigged because people came out enmass and voted for PDP because people came out enmass and voted PDP but APC and INEC collaborated to change figures.
For example in some parts of the state, card readers were adhered to but in others, card readers were not used that is why we want to query the card readers and IBEC forgot about card readers.
In this election lot was budgeted for security and there was no security. IBEC staff substituted on eve of election, people not trained, were brought in. In some polling centres, the presiding officers could not even use card readers.
With our strategies, Ashiru will emerge. The rescue mission is to rescue Kaduna state and re unite Kaduna state.
Let’s come out enmass and cast our votes to ensure that we reclaim our mandate and rescue Kaduna State.
The election was a sham.
We are taking steps to prevent reoccurrence. We are ready to confront whatever and whoever is trying to steal the mandate. The people are ready to prevent their mandate stolen.
